Christmas reminders

​Dear parents/guardians,


As we approach the end of term I would like to thank you for all of your support since we opened in August.
A quick reminder that tomorrow is our Christmas jumper day and anyone who has yet to contribute €5 please do so tomorrow.


Please note:
As we enter the Christmas period, our school community should be aware and take note of current advice in relation to travel. It is important that all non-essential domestic and international travel is avoided. Anyone who travels internationally must restrict their movements for 14 days on arrival into Ireland. Alternatively, travellers may take a PCR test on day 5 after arrival and should continue to restrict their movement until they receive a ‘not detected’ result. 
We have been very successful in keeping our school Covid-free thus far and would appreciate it if you would all continue to follow the guidelines in the new year.

Also many thanks to Ivan Camier for donating the outdoor Christmas tree again this year, and also to Catriona and Martin McCarthy for putting it up.
We would also like to thank Jonathan McCarthy and An Garda Siochana for organising the Garda escort for Santa on Friday.
We will be forwarding on a link to our Christmas performances later today for you to watch as a family. This will also be available on the school website: https://scoilbhrideballydehob.weebly.com/  The videos have been uploaded to Youtube on a private link, I would ask that you do not post this link on social media. Alot of work has gone into creating these performances and we hope you enjoy them.
