As we have come to the end of our school year, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for the help and support you have given us. We have had a very enjoyable and successful year. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a safe, restful and happy Summer holiday. School will re-open on Wednesday 31st August 2022.
On Wednesday 22nd of June, 9 pupils from 6th class bid their final farewell to Scoil Bhríde after 8 happy years in the school. The children recalled their favourite memories and each received a certificate and a pen from Ms Burke and Ms O’Driscoll who wished the pupils well on their Graduation Day and in the future. Having entertained the audience with their own musical composition everyone enjoyed a piece of graduation cake.  Tá Gaelbhratach ardaithe i Scoil Bhríde. Tá creidmheas ollmhór ag dul do chomhordaitheoir tionscadail Ms Duggan a d'oibrigh go crua chun an gradam mór le rá seo a bhaint amach. Maith sibh na mic léinn agus an fhoireann go léir!    We had a wonderful Fun Run today! We tallied all the laps and added together, we ran to Dublin (and beyond) as a whole school- reaching just over 400km! What a great achievement and we had such an enjoyable day. The children can be very proud of their efforts! Congratulations and well done to all the pupils! 2nd, 3rd and 4th Class had a fantastic day out on Monday 13th June to ‘West Cork Secret’ for their school tour. Go Karting at West Cork Secret. Team Building Games at West Cork Secret. Fifth Green Flag is hoisted in Scoil Bhríde. Huge credit is due to Mrs Mairéad O’Callaghan project co-ordinator who has worked extremely hard for the achievement of this prestigious award. Well done to all the students and staff! The children were duly rewarded with an ice-cream cone for their dedication to the project. Thanks to Ivan and Christina Camier for sponsoring the ice creams for the children.      On Thursday 9th June, the annual sports day took place. The children had a very busy morning moving between the different stations/activities. Thanks to the Parents Association for hosting the barbecue. |
