Scoil Bhride is always keen to provide the children with a variety of special activities these include :
Sports days – Pancake race, summer games
Competitions – Discover Primary Science, art competitions
Football training- Sciath na Scol
School garden – We are very proud of our school garden which is taken care of by the older children. We grow a selection of fresh garden vegetables every year and the children take great pride in looking after the crops.
Special Interest Visits – Fire officer, Gardaí, Personnel from the Donkey Sanctuary, Dental Hygienist, Heritage Organisations, Authors, Horticultural speakers.
Music – Tin whistle, singing.
Community & Charity Events – Credit Union Quiz, Skipathon, National Spring Clean, Sunflower collections, Bóthar and Tidy Towns.
Christmas Shoe Box Appeal – Every year the generous children of Scoil Bhríde make up shoe boxes to send to less fortunate children in foreign countries.
