This year we aim to promote positive mental health in our schools and homes alike. The physical activities which we will engage in will help us create healthy minds and after all healthy minds lead to healthy bodies. Going forward we will be planning activities such as reduced homework days whereby families will be encouraged to come together and partake in other activities such as baking, board games, nature walks, reading etc. In school we also hope to partake in mindfulness activities within the classroom and teach our children how to build up their resilience in order to cope with any problems life throws at us. In the new year we hope to brainstorm with our committee for some more wonderful activities to boost positive mental health.
