As part of the School Self Evaluation, the focus will be Wellbeing.
The painting of the outside of the school building will be done over the Easter holidays, weather permitting.

• Parents’ Association Fundraising initiatives and fundraising were commended by Board of Management - a total of €6107.55 raised this school year. The BOM expressed their gratitude to the Parents’ Association and the Parent community for the support.
• School wall was raised for health and safety reasons.
• 2 Whiteboards and 2 laptops purchased for classrooms.

• Critical Incident Policy updated and ratified.
• Choir - School choir being co-ordinated by Lisa Canty, children from 3rd - 6th are involved.
• Building works are at the final stages.
• Staff and students are working towards achieving Active and Amber Flags.

•Gratitude was acknowledged to the parents of Scoil Bhríde and the wider community for all the much needed fundraising received this year: Tractor Run, Flag Day Collection, Clothes Collection and a donation from Nellie Cotter.
• Roof works will go ahead over the summer months - Goleen Development have been contracted to do the work.
• Scoil Bhríde proud to be awarded a Green School Flag and a Gaelbhratach Flag.
• School Tours:
Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class – Smuggler’s Cove, Rosscarbery
2nd, 3rd and 4th Class – West Cork Secret, Kilbrittan
5th/6th Class – Smuggler’s Cove, Rosscarbery.

• Replacement of school roof to take place this Summer.
• Hepa filters were purchased and installed in each classroom.
• Sincere thanks to Nellie Cotter from The Little Way Charity Shop for the kind donation
of one Hepa Filter for our school.
• School allocated one extra SNA hour per day.
• The following policies were ratified: Anti - bullying Policy, Inclusion Policy and Intimate Care Policy.
• Requirement to revive the Parents Association.
• Confirmation date announced - Thursday 7th April 2022.

• Enrolment numbers for the coming academic year are very good
• The process on the works to repair the school roof has started
• A school Facebook Page has been set up
• First Penance and Communion are to take place in Autumn 2021
• Maintenance of the school grounds are on-going

• Job Sharing Arrangement: Ms Duggan and Mrs O’Callaghan will be week on week off, commencing on a Wednesday and finishing on a Tuesday.
• First Penance will take place on Wednesday 9th September and First Holy Communion to be celebrated on Saturday 26th September.

- The painting of the outside of the school building will be commencing in July.
- BOM acknowledged and thanked the enormous support of the Parent’s Association in their fundraising endeavours.
- A survey in relation to our school uniform will be administered in September 2024.
- The Board of Management acknowledged the hard work and dedication of Michelle Murnane over the past four years and wished her well in her teaching career.
- The BOM acknowledged and thanked Jason Nyhan (parent of the school) for his support in securing the playground equipment and for sponsoring the materials required.

- Internal plastering of classrooms and toilets was required to be completed over October midterm as a result of extensive water damage from leaking roof.
