As we have come to the end of our school year, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for the help and support you have given us. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a safe, restful and happy Summer holiday. School will re-open on Monday 30th August 2021.
All the children thoroughly enjoyed Dr Dink and his Punk and Suzy puppet show. Thanks to Joe and Caroline of Levis’ Corner House for hosting and facilitating a wonderful morning of entertainment. The 6th class pupils graduated after eight memorable years in Scoil Bhríde on Friday the 18th of June. All the pupils were presented with a farewell gift and certificate from Ms Lehane. The pupils recalled their favourite memories of the eight years which they spent in the school. A stop-off on the 12 Arch Bridge on our walk to the playground. The sound of laughter could be heard throughout the school today. We had a ‘magical’ visit from the puppeteer and magician Tony Baloney!! He performed some amazing magic tricks and a truly enjoyable show. The children were delighted and excited to see all the farm animals and pets in school today. We would like to thank all the parents who made this possible. The children had a wonderful time decorating their cupcakes today. They went home with some tasty treats. Thanks to Rachel Hickey for her demonstration and all the work and effort she put into the preparation for today. The children were elated and ecstatic at the arrival of the bouncy castle on Monday. |
