The children in Junior Infants, Senior Infants, and 1st Class enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music. They will be participating in a six-week series of percussion lessons with Antje Guest.
The children had a fantastic Halloween celebration, enjoying a full day of spooky fun despite the rainy weather! The day was packed with activities – the children raced with pumpkins, followed a festive pumpkin trail, and paraded proudly through the town in costume.
During our Halloween assembly, students performed songs and poems in both English and Irish, adding a special touch to the festivities. The senior room showcased their creative talents with some impressive pumpkin carving, which added to the festive atmosphere It was a day filled with laughter, creativity, and Halloween spirit. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Halloween break! Our whole school enjoyed a fantastic trip to the local art exhibition today. The children were in awe of the incredible sculptures and enjoyed watching the animations and playing the games. A huge thank you to Paul and John for making the afternoon so enjoyable – it was a memorable experience that brought art to life for all our students!
