On Thursday 2nd March, the children dressed up as their favourite character from a book to celebrate World Book Day. We also had a visit from an author - Robert Plant who gave a presentation on The Titanic to all the pupils.  All classes are participating in reading buddies this week. It is great to hear the hum of reading going on in every classroom. The West Cork Education Centre in Dunmanway has kindly lent us their store of puppets for our use for two weeks. The children are having immense fun with them! |
