Our hurling finalists

Yesterday we had a wonderful day of hurling in Skibbereen where we qualified for the Sciath na Scol Finals Day.

A great day was had and the team showed great spirit and determination. 
We won the semi final in a tight game against Glandore NS with some fine scores in extra time. 
Unfortunately it wasn't to be our day and lost the cup final by one point against Reenascreena NS . 
While the result was disappointing, losing by the smallest of margins, the children wore the jersey with huge spirit and dedication and we as a school are very proud of their efforts.
We would like to thank the parents who came and supported, supplying coffees and treats for teachers, players and supporters!
