Huge congratulations to all the children who represented our school so brilliantly at the Cork City Sports today! A massive well done to all our winners on their fantastic success, and congratulations to every pupil for their excellent participation and team spirit. It was a great day with fantastic results, and you have made the entire school community incredibly proud!
On Tuesday, 26th June, children from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th class took part in an exciting football blitz. The sun was shining bright, and even though the scorching weather made it a bit too hot at times, our young players really enjoyed themselves.
On Wednesday, 20th June, children from 4th, 5th and 6th class travelled to Ballinascarthy to represent our school in the Sciath na Scol competition. It was a fantastic day out and well done to all the players.
Six children from Ms O’Sullivan’s class received their First Holy Communion on Saturday the 16th of May. Thank you to Fr. Buckley for celebrating the Mass and to the Parents’ Association for providing refreshments in the school hall afterwards. It was a special day for the children and their families
Today, the children are enjoying a line dancing workshop in school with Ann Murphy. This amazing experience has been very kindly sponsored by the Country Music Festival Committee. Also the Country Festival Committee are inviting you all to free line dancing classes with Ann on Saturday May 30th in Ballydehob Community Hall:

It is truly fantastic to see the creative arts being promoted in our school community. Exciting energy fills our hall this week. Every class has officially started a four-week gymnastics block. We are thrilled to welcome our coach, Anais.
The school was swinging this week as we welcomed two guest dancers and a live band for a day of jazz! The children had a fantastic time learning new steps and finding their rhythm to live music. |
