Congratulations to all the pupils from Scoil Bhríde who took part in Cork City Sports yesterday!
A big well done to the winners — we’re so proud of all of you for representing the school with such great spirit and effort. Just to remind you all that Scoil Bhríde Golf Classic takes place in Bantry tomorrow throughout the day.
Thank you to everyone involved and to all the sponsors. Everyone is invited to come along to the presentation at 7pm. Well done to the ten Second Class pupils who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday, 17th May in St. Brigid’s Church. Thank you to Fr. Chris for celebrating the Mass and to the Parents’ Association for providing refreshments in the school hall afterwards. It was a special day for the children and their families
This week, our school celebrated Mental Health and Well-being as part of our Amber Flag initiative. The children took part in activities like guided meditation, art, and an outdoor disco.
We also held a fundraiser for Pieta House where each child donated €2 and brought their books and lunch in ‘anything but a school bag,’ making the day fun and creative. It has been a great week, and the children really enjoyed it. There was a wonderful buzz of excitement in school today as we were treated to a special visit from a jazz band. In preparation for the upcoming Ballydehob Jazz Festival, the musicians played a lively selection of tunes that had everyone tapping their feet and clapping along.
Enjoy the weekend, everyone—and don’t forget to catch more great music at the Ballydehob Jazz Festival! Children from First to Fourth Class had a fantastic morning today as they took part in a football blitz in Ballydehob. They played matches against teams from Goleen and Schull Primary Schools.
It was a fun-filled morning of games and plenty of energy on the pitch. Well done to all the boys and girls who took part! |
