Our classrooms were a hive of activity today as we welcomed local artist Millie to school. The children has a fantastic time designing bunting for this weekend's Ballydehob Jazz Festival. It was wonderful to see our 'busy artists' in action. ​

It has been a whirlwind of activity in our infant classes this month! The children have been busy putting their engineering hats on to build impressive structures with Knex. They explored the concepts of weight and capacity, and had a splash investigating floating and sinking. The highlight was definitely the "Tinfoil Boat Challenge" where everyone worked hard to design a sturdy vessel to keep a Lego man afloat! Take a look at their wonderful work below!
